Joining the Prayer Team
We believe effective prayer cover is vital for the Town Pastor initiative.
Prayer cover needs to coincide with the times that the Town Pastors are out on the streets so we are keen to recruit committed Prayer Team members who are willing to pray between 10.00pm and 4.00am on Saturday nights, when the Town Pastors are on duty.
We ask Prayer Team members to be ‘on duty’ one night a month; either one night a month praying in the Town Pastors’ base (in the town centre) or one hour on one night each month praying at home. Prayer Team members are given the opportunity to indicate their availability each month.

Not sure about applying to join the Prayer Team? Please contact Jo Copsey (tel: 07594 334215 or email: jocopsey@burytownpastors.org.uk) to arrange to visit the Town Pastors base for an hour or two. This would give you a good insight into the role of Prayer Team member and may well inspire you to apply!

Please fill in the application form. If you are applying to pray at our base, please give a copy of the reference form to your referee. These should be sent by post to the address indicated on the forms.
